The Fairweather Foundation is a consciously diverse non-profit organization focused on increasing representation of women and minorities within STEM and advocacy for inclusion within tech
We partner with schools, academic institutions, and various organizations to bring awareness about STEM programs and professions. We are committed to encouraging the next generation to become more engaged with technology. To move beyond solely being consumers of technology to become tech producers, designers, analysts, managers, testers, researchers, etc.
We serve disadvantaged, disenfranchised, and under represented individuals through education. We partner with businesses, conferences, and local government agencies to increase tech literacy and participation. From computer
literacy training for senior citizens to helping individuals transition into tech careers, we are working to increase tech-inclusivity.
We believe that technology is beneficial to society but also has consequences. Our research focuses on understanding how technology is impacting every facet of daily life. We are committed to research that contributes to society.
